This Cd pays tribute to a number of poets from different cultures and centuries that have inspired, influenced and moved me over the course of my artistic career.On this Cd I've dedicated compositions to the Japanese Haiku masters Basho and Issa, the Persian mystic Hafiz, as well as adapted poems from American poets Langston Hughes, Jack Kerouac and Robert Frost. The Cd's title is an offshoot of Robert Frost's poem as well as a reference to my 40+ years as a jazz musician and where it's taken me.
